Does anyone know of any good touring campsites in Blackpool where they don't ask for a deposit/monies upfront to hold a pitch?    I like to pay on arrival.   Thanks

Other than the Caravan Club, which doesn't ask for a deposit, I think that the majority of sites ask for one.
That particular site doesn't accept tents, but I don't know what unit you have, so that may be an option for you. Some Caravan Club sites DO accept tents though.
Good luck with your search.
