I can't find anywhere with 2 pitches from Wed to Sat at half term. Anyone know anywhere with space in the mid/south of the country that is suitable for kids and might be persuaded to take a bigger tent and a standard one? think the recent good weather has got every one out and about.

Hi

Are you in the caravan and camping club(C&CC) ?  They have lots of certified sites available (members only).  These are small sites for up to five caravans and for tents. Some have no facilities other than a tap and somewhere to empty a chemical  toilet and some with toilets showers EHU and other facilities.  Site finder on the C&CC website allows you to look for certified sites in different areas.  Some may have spaces over the BH. We joined both the C&CC and the caravan club mainly to use certified sites and go on rallies.  The certified sites are also usually much cheaper than commercial sites, so you recoup the money you paid on your membership fees quickly.  They also have lots of rallies for members only (usually no facilities) over the BH.  Most with lots of kids at half term.  Hope this is some help

Pauline
