Hi, going to Coniston Hall on Tuesday through to Sunday. I have read various reviews of this site and a lot of them say it's a noisy site, is this just at weekends or during the week, as we are going on the Tuesday to try to avoid this type of thing.

Many Thanks

hi, was only looking at this site on the web last nite myself. personally, i would avoid it like the plague just based on reviews(not been there). if u are looking at the lakes i would reccomeng castlerigg hall, keswick. we went last week and the kids loved it. not too overpriced due to the facilities. good luck!!!!!!

We last stayed there about 3 years ago on a week night in the main school holidays - it wasn't noisy then but I've heard it's a nightmare at the weekends.  Apparantly, sites quienten down after Monday so it might not be too bad.  What about trying

http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=2233 Low Wray nr Ambleside.  It's not too far from Coniston & a bit more civilised!
