Hi everyone.  I am orginising a charity bike ride from Banbury to Fishguard and am trying to find somewhere to pitch 4 small tents somewhere around Caldicote (between Chepstow and Newport) but cannot find anywhere at all.  I did get a phone number for a site called St Pierre but they have not been answering the phone all week so I am guessing they are closed.  We are due to leave in 2 weeks and I am running out of ideas.  We are restricted to this area and will be unable to go too much out of the way as will have cycled quite far all ready.  I have attached the Blog and Sponser Site link if anyone is interested.  We need to camp to keep the cost down.

Thanks Steve.  I'm running out of options now.  May have to get a b&b for the night.

Not sure about the St Pierre one but I think that there are camping facilities in the Country Park that is around Caldicot Castle. They have a lot of fairs and battle reconstructions there. It is owned by Monmouthshire County Council so it may be worth giving them a ring in the week?

If not there is the Tredegar Park site in Newport although it is a fair bit further on on your route.
