we are going down to east devon/dorset at the end of july for 2 weeks any ideas on a site,dont want a massive place preferably with a pool for the kids and a pub within walking distance.not to far from the sea.

i agree with you on pooh cottage,we have had many a happy week there but last year after booking one of the two statics on there they told us they had double booked after we had booked 12 months in advance so we had to get a tent last minute and go else where so we wont be back at pooh cottage again.we stayed at the shrubbery at rousden near lyme regis,lovely site but no pub or pool

Have just returned from Woodovis near Tavistock. A bit pricey but a well kept site with clean facilities and an indoor pool. There is a pub within walking distance and a short drive to various others.
