Hi, thinking of going to Seaview Caravan Club site near Berwick on Tweed so we can visit Lindisfarne etc. The site description doesn't mention a dog walk and as we have two elderly hounds we need somewhere close by to walk last thing at night/first thing in the morning. Does anyone know if there's a suitable place to walk close by this site? Or could anyone recommend an alternative site in the area? (quiet site, decent loos, suitable for campervan). Any advice gratefully received.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Can highly recommend Seafield Caravan Park at Seahouses which is not too far from Lindisfarne. Next to fantastic long beaches, across from the Farne Islands. They do have a dog walk. When we have stayed in a static in the past there were motorhomes on site but not sure if they still do.
We've stayed a Seaview, Berwick and it's a lovely little site - great views across to Berwick BUT they do not have a dog walk on site. You can walk the dogs outside the site but it's mainly a residential housing area......but there are plenty of poo bins available. We walked into Berwick with our boy but it's a long way for older dogs. Just as a note Berwick is NOT a very doggie friendly place - there was only one pub/hotel that allowed dogs inside, although we did find a nice little courtyard cafe for a coffee sat outside in the sunshine!

Thanks everyone for the advice and suggestions. It's great to be able to draw on other folks' experience and avoid disappointment. Now I know that Seaview not the right site for us this time round.
