Hi there! We have booked a week at Herston Yards in Swanage later this Summer and have been allocated pitch OAK05. We visited the site about 4 years ago and stayed in the tent field which was full to bursting point (it was Bank Holiday but even so!), and would like to have a rough idea about where our pitch is located. Does anyone who has visited recently know where OAK05 is or even better has a site map?

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

we,ve been to herston a couple of times recently and put in oak field.in our experience what number you are given dosen,t mean to much as we were put wherever there,s a space.on the whole we found it ok as a base as there wasn,t to much to do on site, its 5 minutes from swanage town centre and at the end of the road (swanage end)there,s a decent pub (royal oak).it has,nt been to cramped the times we have been but it do,es seem they don,t like turning people away who want to stop for the night as there was a good" turn over"of one night campers.i hope this has,nt painted a bad picture as this is a pretty good site for the money,i,m sure you will have a good holiday there........
