Hi

Does anybody know of any non-bookable campsites in Somerset or Wiltshire?

We'll be visiting North Devon for a few days at the beginning of the summer holidays (that's booked) we might also stay somewhere else on the way home to break up the journey but we don't really want to book anything so I'm wondering if it'd be possible to 'just turn up' or possibly ring first and get somewhere for a couple nights without booking first?

We never used to book campsites and that worked out brilliantly but we weren't camping in the school holidays back then!

Thanks

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

We're sort of doing the same, but the other way round.  We're off to Cornwall in July, leaving home about lunchtime (ish) on a Friday due to work commitments, and want to stop (just an overnighter) in the Stonehenge area. Then carry on to Cornwall early Saturday morning, just having a quick look at the sites on here to see what I can find.
