Our friends have told us about a site near paignton that was great, its on a hill and has its own 9 hole golf course and some wood cabins on the site, they loved it we would like to go, anyone got an idea of what its called? Have they got a website? Any help greatly received. Deborah

Hi Yoda.
Have you tried typing Paighton into campsite search above and checking the web sites and reviews I sure you will find it on there
Good luck
Rex.

I'm pretty sure they mean Finlake. If so it no longer (sob sob ) takes tourers and is entirely statics and cabins.

Hi Jan

Thanks for this, looks a great place, they must have gone with their caravan, as we only camp its not any good for us :-( But I will keep the details as I would not mind a visit to their wooden cabins. Kind Regards, Deborah

Dont know the names, but just before paignton on the road from Totness there are about 5 campsites to choose from.

Trouble is in the summer this road gets very jammed up.

Good places to visit:

The Zoo - spen all day here
Living Coasts - In paignton marina - small but very good.
A little village called 'cockington' very pretty.
