Hi everyone, we are taking our (new to us) trailer tent to Burnham on sea , somerset(haven site) on saturday 5th july,   just wondering if anyone has been recently and how was it?????

Not been to the Haven site but went to Burnham on sea last September and it was fine.  Not there long and it was a Sunday so was not very busy.  Did not stay in Burnham itself.

has anyone been to the wookey hole or any other nearby places to visit that they would recommend .

You can visit the Cheddar Gorge Wookey Hole The west somerset steam railway from Bishops Lydiad to Minehead. Clarks holiday village.

There are numerous attractions just pick up a few brochures when you get there.

We went to Wookey Hole, my 2 lads aged 12 and 14 loved it. There is a tourist information in Burham, on the sea front by the cafe.

thanks guys, wookey hole looked pretty good , we have girls of 6 & 3 and was a bit worried they might not enjoy it and be two young but g n l has now changed my mind .

Wookey Hole has lots to do for young kids - ours were 5.4 & 2. Teddy Bear factory and the Dinosaurs were good and they can make a piece of watermarked paper!

Burnham beach is great also.
