We have been searching and searching for sites in these areas - my eyes are now square and blurry and am begining to looses the will to live....
We are looking for something that has showers/toilet block, laundry facilities and deffinately Electric Hook Up (cause OH says it's a must to wash his smalls and he can't go anywhere without his hairdryer!) and play area for the children to have run around and kick about. Farm type
Not looking for somthing huge with massive club house and laid on entertainment (the 'Haven' type experience).
Have been reading the post and reviews on here but not getting very far.
It's our first time out with a tent (caravanned before) and have bought a 2007 model Hartford L - nay tips or info on this greatly appreciated also
Thanks for any help

We are off the Jacobs Mount in the middle of July. (Maybe a bit big for you) we wanted a dog friendly place with a pub on site because we can't leave her in on her own and go out for a drink.
I will post a review once we come back around the 25th.

Hi, I would suggest Orchard Farm too. It's a lovely site, with a little club house and indoor pool, a big playground for the kids, a duckpond and even a miniature railway on site. It's in Hunmanby which is a lovely village just outside Filey, and just a 5 min walk from the shops, pubs & takaways in the village centre.
We haven't been for a good while but maybe try Arosa Camping and Caravan Site at Seamer - we had a seasonal pitch there for a few years - about 3 miles inland from Scarborough - quiet clean site, play area for kids, clubhouse, good washing facilities.

we usually go to arosa when in that area. but what about wolds way. just off A64 on way to scarborough. weve been a few times a always have a good stay. its also got very good reviews on here.
We've used C&CC site at Scarborough a few years ago but was a bit expensive in high season. Just booked CC site at West Ayton for October half term. Not been before but has good reviews.
We were at West Ayton CC site last weekend. It's a lovely site with a massive playe area and a couple of smaller ones for the kids. There's also a great dog walk, which goes off in loads of different directions off site and leads to some really lovely walks through the valley. It's quite local to us, so it's great for a quick weekend break, and we'll definately be returning.
We've also been to Wolds Way a few times, and that's a fab little site too. Sadly our relationship with them has been marred slightly as we used to store our van there and they moved it without our knowledge, and it took us a week to clean all the pigeon muck off it! But that doesn't detract from the site, it's lovely and you won't be disappointed.
