We are looking for a campsite not too big but with a bit of entertainment for our daughter who will be holidaying with mum and dad but without her older sisters this year.
We know we've left it late and may not have a lot of choice but wondered about John Fowler holidays not many reviews .Can you help?
Thanks in advance

hi we went to widemouth bay a few years ago never again it was awfull some body we know went last year and they sold there van when they came back from there
Beverley Park and Hoburne Torbay best sites in Paignton in my humble opinion. Short walk to Goodrington beach which has great facilities for families, both sites well run with lots for all ages.We have stayed at Killigarth which is a John Fowler site near Looe but they dont take tourers any more.Have to say even if they did would not go again-its really gone down hill over the years.

We've just come back from a weekend at Byslades, Nothing is open, The cafe, Shop, bar and pool are all closed for the whole season, we hadn't booked but just bunged the tent in the car and hoped to find a site somewhere in the Torbay area, this was the first site we tried, the girl on the desk couldn't have been more helpful practically falling over herself to get us in. BUT we weren't told about the closures which I think was really bad, it was only after we had set the tent up and popped to the shop that we saw a notice (very small) saying nothing would be opening.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
