Looking at going away for the weekend with wife and children aged 7,5. Can anyone recomend a campsite either by Bala, llangorse or any other lake with activities suitable for children.

Stayed here last year, lovely site, close to Bala and right next to a white water raft centre. I have 2 kids and they loved it. Take lots of insect repellent though, midges are a problem due to the water.

Glan Llyn is bang on Bala Lake (Lake Tegiid) with it's own access to the lake and one of the rivers that feeds the lake.

It is our chosen campsite (second visit) for our main holiday this summer.
