Looking for a campsite with who will acept to medium sized well behave dogs (owners might not be)................................

We are looking to go to the Peak District.  Previuos camping with our girls was in Langdale, lake district at the National Trust site and are looking for something similar with lots of walks nearby and at least a pub nearby in case of rain.  Our tents living area isnt very spacious.

Can you help!

Looking for the first weekend in August, preferably bookable so that we do  not have to search if site is full.

Cheers NIna

The Royale Oak at Wetton.  Beautfiul and pubs dont get much closer!  Its on the campsite search.  Pub is very dog friendly too.

Rivendale is nice and they let the dogs inside the bar which is on site.  It's only open on the weekends though I've been told.

Lime Tree Park is also nice.  It has a dog walking area but it is quite small however next to the tent fields there are many more fields you can walk the dogs in.

I'm not sure about walks however Rivendale isn't too far away from Dovedale which is a very nice place for walking and is very nice for the dogs too.

Sorry forgot to say that we want some good walks as well as the dogs.

Any thoughts on Edale?

Thanks Nina
