We are trying to decide where to go this weekend, bearing in mind the weather is likely to be wet and miserable we are a bit stuck.

Usually I would go for quiet sites with basic facilities, but wondering if we should go somewhere with more on site entertainment eg swimming pool club house etc so we have somewhere to go away from the weather.

We will be staying in a tent and have a baby and a very active toddler to keep happy, so just wondering what other people do when the forecast is poor?

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

We never stay on sites with entertainment, we have 4 kids and have been camping since they were babies. We take colouring books, their favourite toys and have enough room in the tent to play. Also our kids are waterproof!! They all have crocs, waterproof trousers and jackets and play happily even in the rain. We tend to walk a lot to see the area where we are staying, the kids all have their own backpacks with snacks in and a drink.

hope that helps

Julie

Why is it always my toothbrush that gets left behind?

Thanks Julie - you have convinced me we will be okay without on site ents - OH is insisting we take a portable DVD player anyway so can always resort to that!
