Hi There UK Campsite users.

We are currently waiting for our listing to appear in the "Camp Site Search" section of this website and have opened a small camping area to the side of our house in the village of Meldreth, Hertfordshire which can accommodate two medium sized tents, the camping area is landscaped with trees and plants and has lovely views towards the river Cam.

We also have for campers use, a small utility room with a washing up area and a chemical toilet, fresh water is also available.... sorry we are unable to provide proper sanitation facilities at the moment - although all chemical waste can be disposed of via the hatch to the septic tank - located at the rear of the house.

We also have wireless internet access available on site (£1 per night)

We are ideally located for visitors wishing to explore cambridge and the surrounding areas, there is a direct train from the village of Meldreth to both London and Cambridge.

We are open all year and charge £4.75 per night for two people.

Advanced bookings are essential we will turn away any on the day campers.

If you are interested or would like more information, or to make a booking... please call Wayne on 01763 261366 - 07507 453342.

Happy Camping!

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

Hi Wayne, is your site a Certificated Site license, or local council licensed please?

Cheers
Ian

Hi Ian....

We have contacted our local council and we as far as we can establish we don't require a license as tents can legally be put onto any land for a maximum of so many days a year, i haven't got the exact paperwork in front of me at the moment so couldn't tell you how many days a year.

But if we exceed the number of days then we would be breaking the councils legislation.

Hope this helps.

Regards.

Wayne
