I've visited a lot of sites in Scotland and my OH was in the RAF, but I'm afraid you've got me here.  Have you any idea which area it is in?

My sister-in-law seems to think it could be on the west coast of scotland.  There is also a lake near or on site with fishing rights.  Don't know anymore information!

 yes I agrre with Katy, we called to have a look at Brighouse Bay , Dumfries and Galloway area, and they had a plane there.

I think Linda and Katy are probably right. There is no site anywhere else that I know of with a plane at the entrance. Sorry I can't help further.
