I'm treating some hotel types to a night under canvas, can anyone recommend a campsite in the Lakes near to a decent pub and somewhere that serves a good breakfast.

Was thinking of Langdale but this might be too much of a shock for them.

This park is within walking distance to Hawkeshead, there are several pubs, shops etc in the town that should meet your requirements.
