I am on the verge of complaining about poor customer service from a CC site visited this weekend. We are members of the CC and I was wondering if anyone has had a satisfactory outcome when they complained, as my feeling is that they will support their wardens come what may.
TIA for replies

I guess it depends on the nature of the complaint.
If its going to be your word against theirs, with no other people to check the facts with & no history of similar complaints, I think you will get a polite letter at most!
Thinking of not bothering? If you dont say anything then there will never be a history of complaints, so it is worthwhile making the effort.
We've never had a satisfactory response from any letter to CC - one of the reasons we resigned. We even sent a letter with the resignation explaining why we did not intend to renew our membership - didn't even acknowledge our concerns.
I don't think it's a question of supporting wardens regardless of issues - that was not our problems - but they have a high membership - full sites - don't care if some are unhappy. I would think that the only way to change this is to get elected to council - if you've time and inclination that is - I had enough of that when I was working - so we simply opted out.
Prefer to travel and camp in mainland Europe now anyway!

But it´s all right now, I learned my lesson well.

Sent a letter last year to CC voicing my concern that their pricing policy was going to start putting families off...(prompted by paying £25 per night for a site with no ents, whilst similar sites in the same area where charging under £18).
Got a standard reply which basically added upto...if you dont like it there are plenty of others who will pay....
Unfortunatly, they are right.
Wont let it stop me complaining though!!!
