Recently stayed at one near Malham. There are two in the area one small which is 5min walk to the village and its pubs. One large which is situated nearly in Gordale Scar. The smaller has great views of Malham cove.

We stayed in the one smaller one. Found it basic but good. Great area for long or short walks to the scar, cove, tarn, dry waterfalls and riverbed. Some fairey enchanted waterfalls.

Welcome to UKCS.
I don't know whether you have a tent, caravan or motorhome, but we like the Caravan Club site in Hawes, it's within walking distance of Hawes itself, with quite a few pubs for eating out, shops, a cheese factory. Also loads of walks if you are into walking. Stayed there once for 8 days, the car never moved from the day we arrived until the day we left, we walked and walked and walked and then walked some more!
Beautiful scenery all around.
But....they don't accept tents, so apologies if you have a tent, in which case this won't help you.------------- Ina
