Slenningford watermill is 5 mins from Lightwater, right by river not sure of play area.

Old Station at Masham bout 20 mins from Lightwater, no play area, nice site but can get a bit packed.

Ripley is a nice site and not too far from LW, and we have also stayed at Kingfisher in Knaresborough and Rudding Park in Harrogate, both within easy driving distance. HTH

WOODHOUSE FARM IN RIPON IS ONLY 8 MILE / 15 MINS DRIVE AWAY. GOOD PLAY AREAS FOR KIDS AND NICE ON SITE PUB, CAN'T BEAT IT FOR ME.
