we are having a week holiday camping 3rd week of august, just us two and our baby who will be 8 months

for once we are not taking our dog - he's having a holiday of his own at my mother in law's and we would love a site with the following:

an outdoor pool we can jump into!

views of the sea

elevated position would be nice

some shade for pitching so it doesnt get too hot for baby

quiet

any ideas would be very welcome!

thanks

What area of the country are you looking for?

i know what you mean about not being quiet! lol! i sort of meant not where there is likely to be lots of young adults staying up late etc (like i used to do a few years back!)

i like cornwall, but also wondered about devon and dorset

There is a site in Cornwall in a small place near St Austell called London apprentice. The site is called River Valley ( I think there is a website). It's quiet with an indoor pool - great for your baby. There is a lovely walk which will take you to the beach and pub - the path is wide path through woods and should be suitable for a pram / buggy.

They may be fully booked for August but worth a try .....

Good Luck
