Hi we went to a camp site last year called Valley of the Rocks in Anglesey. I have been trying to get in touch with them by phone but keep getting answer machine. I am wondering if they are still open this year.
Is there anyone that has been there this year?
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

Sorry can't help you, but been looking a this campsite myself. Any idea of a rough price for a tent pitch though???
We stayed there a couple of years ago, it was £9.50 for a caravan then. I don't think there is any ehu in the camping field but it's a nice area, near a lovely beach, pub next door, Holyhead about 1 mile away.
The site is still open as I have seen campers coming and going as I live not far from there.
Have you left a message so that they can get back to you?
There is Blackthorn Farm Camp Site just a bit further down the road if you want to stay in the area. We visited Bonzer there when he came over this neck of the woods and its a lovely site - not sure of the prices though but if I did not live here it is a site that I would happily use.
Hope this helps
Louise

We paid approx £28 for 2 or 3 nights(no sure if it was 2 or 3) there last year. That was based on a 4 man tent.
We had some times there, the owners and people that run the pub are friendly. It depends what you are looking for.
We went there to try out as first time campers as it was cheap and daughter had previously stayed there a lot. We keep getting drawn back there. Was hoping to go on bank holiday wkend but family party going on, GUTTED! so hopefully we should be there week after bank holiday.

I did leave a message on the answer machine with my name and telephone number but heard nothing back. I will keep trying different times of the day. Failing that we might take a run there in the car before we are due to go.
Have had no joy at Valley of the Rocks - could not find anyone to help out so I would personally try and get into Black thorn - its a lot nicer site in my opinion
I looked at Black Thorn website, looks a nice site, but, only one prob, as we go withought children we like to have a pub. Valley of the rocks have a pub in walking distance. But the nearest pub at Black Thorn in 2 miles away. Will keep it in mind though.
Thanks again.

Hi again Jayne
I am pretty certain that the Black Thorn site has a pub type bar at it as when we visited friends there was alot of people drinking outside as it has picnic tables other than that the local taxi service is very cheap and you can get them on 01407 762020
We are just going to travel to holyhead in morning (Fri) see if valley of the rocks is open. If not, we will try the other one.
Thankyou, sure we will looks like weather is going to be good anyway Yes that would've been nice.
Will let you know when we get back if we got into Valley of the rocks. If we do get in there we are going to have a look at Blackthorn one, I have printed dierctions for it.
