My kids love Fisherground at Eskdale(so do me and OH) trouble is we are finding it difficult to look beyond this site thus limiting our options.

 Does anybody know of any other sites where kids can be kids in natural surroundings,have good playgrounds ,woods to explore etc.

We live in Kendal so cose to North Lancs,West and North Yorks.

We have also stopped at Gibraltar Farm and enjoyed it there,but found it very noisy until 2am.

Both boys under 5 so not interested in Discos,just getting mucky and making new friends.

Red Bank Farm near carnforth, 10 minutes off Jncn 35 the M6, it's a working farm and the farmer loves to show people round, they also have a petting section with all sorts of animals in it, large fields for the kids to run around on, and don't be surprised if the free range hens visit your tent looking for a handout
