what a complete waste of space this place is, on arrival to this ploughing event OOPPS, caravan site, boy did i get the shock of my life. so here we go, the toilets should be condemed, they where so dirty i had to use my caravan shower for the first time, then after erecting my 10 metre pole complete with skull and crossbones we decided to go and checkout the entertainment in the complex. ( so where was this complex) the brochere says on site there was nightime entertainment two heated pools, a cafe a bar and childrens entertainment, but it was nowhere to be seen, so we got into our car and after a 1 mile drive ( on site facilities ) lol we arrived at the complex. so we entered and after checking out the shop prices i told the wife we must have made a wrong turn as the prices indicated that we where in harrods. then we went to the rather large bath they called a swimming pool which had about 100 people in it .so after we had enough of this we went back to our caravan and as we arrived i noticed my pole had gone. so on closer inspection it was lying beside my caravan in 6 pieces. so off i went to security to report someone had damaged my property and his reply to me was ( wot do you want us to do ) so as you can see my 5 day break was a nightmare and alas ! i will never be anywhere near this place again. so i hope my experiance is of help to everyone as i would not want anyone to have the misfortune of coming across this haven site.  so shame on you bourne leasure.

They have pushed the tourers further away and made them less welcome at Golden Sands.

The walk to the complex is a right trek but a road train is available. We found the toilets to be not very nice but put it down to the users rather than the cleaners. Most Haven sites we have been on are a not to keen on toilet cleaning

The main Complex has also took a turn for the worse in recent years and we will not be returning until we hear of big improvements.

Shame cos we used to like it there.

tourers are always treated as 2nd rate citizens on haven sites

we always try & choose campsites with plenty for the kids to do, but most of them have awful facilities

Butlins is most definately the worst
