Can anyone reccommend any sites in or around Yarmouth.

9 of us usually go 4 adults and 5 kids ages ranging from 6 to 16 so would like somewhere where there's plenty to do for them. Checked out Vauxhall Holiday park and they're wanting somewhere in the region of £34 a night which really i think is way too much.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Thanks

Tracy

I can recommend Rose farm great site & a purpose built play area for the kids.

What time of year are you looking at going Tracy. Vauxhall is only that price during main school holidays. Have just come back from 11 days there and its a great place for someone with kids your age. Also the pitches are large so you have plenty of space.

Also how close to Yarmouth do you want, as far as i am aware it is the only site in the centre of Yarmouth tho there are many within a few miles.

Never actually stayed at The Grange campsite but the pub used to do really good ham egg and chips! The sister site is Long Beach up at Hemsby.

vauxhall is a good site but stay away from the top road as we were their when we went and the wagons were back and forth all night long hitting speed ramps in and out of the industrial estate but apart from that we had a great time.

DONT go to breydon water though we went and had the worst ever week of our lives in our years of caravvaning and vowed to warn people off from going their.

When did you go Ian.We have been 3 times recently and though the waggons go past from around 7.30 we never heard a thing overnight (apart from noisy neighbours ) and we were on top pitches by request.

Hi.Went to Haven, wild duck on bank holiday week.3 kids, 2 adults, mon to fri-£136 {entertainment passes inc'}

It's set in woodlands, shower block has 10 boiling hot showers, 2 plug sockets {handy for a 12 year old's straighteners!!!}, loads of entertainment and shows, adventure playground and a handy shop, outdoor swimming pool.

The kids love camping and said this was their best holiday ever, thinking of going back in the spring.
