When I went to Dovedale this summer, I noticed a campsite just nearby between Ilam and Thorpe, just near the turn off for Dovedale. Does anyone know the name of the campsite and any other details - for example do they have loos/showers. There seemed to be about 4 or 5 tents and one caravan spread on both sides of the road. (Not sure if this was all one site or not).

Know where you mean, as you go down the hill, just before turning for Dovedale car park on your right. Think it's more of a field than a site.
