Was at this site in July/August and I found it very clean and well kept.
Facilities were spotless and cleaned everday. Showers were spot on.
Also have WIfi which is good if u want your laptop.
Roads around the site are a bot closer than what you see on the map but they site you if you asked.
I found the roads around Paignton/Torbay etc very busy and the good beech is Blackpool sands near Brixham. Mind not that we had time to use it with the weather !
Recomended site mind.

Stayed at Dornafield 6 years ago, it was a great site then too, let down only by it's location near the un-picturesque Newton Abbot. But the site itself was top-class.
The CL Old Orchard is up the same road and not as far as Dornafield and we found the road a bit difficult, a good site once you are on it though and a fraction of the price of the others mentioned (only ehu and cwd though, which we prefer).

I know there is no fishing at Dornafield itself, but are any of you aware of any coarse fishing lakes in the area? A friend has recommended it but hubby will only go if there is fishing locally.
Thanks

I suspect Mark61 felt he was posting a review of the site. A not uncommon occurance on this forum! Perhaps a shake-up of the initial view of the website and a consideration of where people initially see the subject that is uppermost in their minds?

I think Mark61 was posting a review of the site in the correct place as he saw it. Perhaps a shake-up of the forum headings and listings are a good idea as it isn't always obvious what you should tell people about the minute you want to tell them!

Hmm, twice now I have posted some thoughts to a thread and twice the original post has appeared and my post haven't. ..... er, any enlightenment from the admin people?!!
