Just had a nice weekend at Cirencester park enjoying what maybe a last glimpse of summer.Its been a bad year again for the weather but we always feel happy if we "get a good one" once in a while.Anybody else enjoyed the weekend away?

We weren't away this weekend BUT we live in Cornwall so just enjoyed everything on our doorstep!
It has been a fab 2 weeks down here and for those that booked 'late' Summer holidays good on you, you've certainly had the best of the weather!!!
Gale force winds forecast for tomorrow and rain for the rest of the week here so I guess it's back to 'normal'.

I would have loved to have gone away again but couldn't as I was looking after some very expensive cats and the owners didn't come back till late Saturday night. We went away the weekend before though, to a lovely site just 45 minutes from home - the weather was glorious and we had a really chilled out weekend. It was our first time at that site but it won't be our last.

I have a very temperamental personality - 50% temper and 50% mental
We were camping at Rowan Park CC site in Bognor Regis. It was so hot we took 2 yr old grandson in the sea. He absolutely loved it and splashed about for ages. Only problem was that I had to carry him up over the shingle and he was soaked and so was I by the time I got to the top.
We saw a few people lugworm digging and little grandson held one in his hand, fine until I said it was a worm and he dropped it straight away!!!
