Has anyone any experience of West Hill Farm campsite near Ware in Hertfordshire? We drove past a sign for this site yesterday but on return home could not find any info either on here or on Gogole. Anyway, all I can find is that is a great music festival venue, so any comments about this site would be very welcome.

Thanks in advance !!

Hi

It's actually called Westmill Farm http://www.westmillfarm.co.uk/

It's a pretty basic site, with one loo, and one shower, which leave rather a lot to be desired ! But if you don't mind roughing it on the facilities, it's okay. The pitches are on a slope, so it's hard to find a very level spot. There are a couple of hookups. You can't pitch next to the fishing lakes, but not far away. I quite like it for a quick night away as it's very local, but I wouldn't fancy it for longer that a weekend.

Hope that helps

Ian
