I dont think that any of the pitches are numbered, I would say to pitch closer to the origanal toilet block, only as its a little closer to the theme park, great site, kids will love it, and if you can get a group of 10 the price is so much cheaper, its around £43 per night for us to go on own own, but only around £17.50 with a group of 10 or more.

Hello folks,

Can anyone explain the tent size extra charge for me please? At first I thought how brilliant they do actually state a size limit but when I read it properly it made no sense. Are they really saying that any tent bigger than 3.4x3.4m(the limit being 11.15 sqm will be charged extra (plus the extra charge for additional people) and do they really think that a tent exists (pup tent) that is less than 1m in either direction?

The additional size charge only applies to tents and trailer tents NOT caravans, which must be nearly all over that size.

Hope that made sense

Thanks

Angela

the price is per pitch inc 2 people, so either £12.00 or £18.50 per night for the 1st 2 people, then £6.75 per night for extra people, £2.50 for ehu, £2.50 for an awning then if the unit is bigger than 11.15 sqm then an extra £2.50 per night, plus any pup tent at £2.50 per night.

If you have a group of 10 or more the price is £15.50 per night inc 5 persons + £2.00 ehu and extra people at £3.50 per person, dont think they bother with pitch size for group bookings, and no extra charge was made for awnings.

hope that helps

We stayed at Woodlands last year in August in our caravan. Some of the sight is sloping I think the pitches nearer the top are flatter. When we arrived some escorted us to our pitch.

Your kids will love it, ours had a whale of a time. Just hope the weather is kinder to you than it was to us we last our awning in high winds.

have fun
