XVI yes?

As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

Jamesi1810 : “Blair Castle : Perth = 4 mins walk” … Perth is a good drive south, Pitlochry isn’t walking distance, but Blair Atholl outside the entrance has eateries.
My favourites are all independent:
Silvercraigs looking over Kirkcudbright, “the artists town”.
Carlingwark Loch on the edge of Castle Douglas, “the food town”.
Braemar or Invercauld site, 10 mins walk to a beautiful conservation village.
Ballater (booking essential, it’s so good).
Fortrose (we prefer it to CCC Rosemarkie on the same peninsula)
Add Glenearly to a previous recommendation for a site at Dalbeattie (part of Seven Stanes mountain bike circuit).
Several outside Callender in the Trossachs.
Belhaven outside Dunbar.
CAMC Forfar & Foresterseat for Forfar.
Carradale Bay for a beach plus a small fishing town & views of Arran.
OK, Ullapool isn’t the best site in the world but its situation is wonderful: sitting outside reading a book in 11:30 “simmer dim” of June while the fishing boats & the ferry pass with their lights on.
Agree with Moffat & Melrose, but Club prices.
Mortonhall yes, but not in summer or Festival time.
Good grief! Not adding sites with a bus stop, or this list would get even longer.
Wondering where to go for the 90% eclipse in August….

We are at New Park Farm, 2 miles from Mildenhall. Not interesting unless you are a fan of US military but a handy stopover near the A11.
