It depends on what time of year you go,most sites will be like that on bank hols, and the school hols.there are 1544 on line here tonight alone and some only use this site to search for places to go and dont get involved in the chat
------------- Think this year is to follow old meet friends for 2014.
If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.

I find that tent only sites will be less busy, as will those with minimal facilities - if you prefer sites with lots of facilities then your bet during school term time.
If you can only go away during peak season then it is worth joining the Camping and Caravanning Club and going to Club Sites, at least it ensures that you will not be packed in like sardines.
Have a look at Fforest Fields... I have been there at some of their busiest times... bank holidays and the Royal Welsh Show and I didn't feel 'hemmed in' - still felt like you had plenty of space and a fab site. Sarah x
e) Units, excluding guy ropes, must be 6 metres apart from adjacent units. This is a precaution against fire. Vehicles can be parked between units, provided that 3 metres’ clear space is left within the 6 metre gap at all times.
Shell island Llanbedr 20 metres between units ( largest camp site in Europe )
or the quiet tucked away sites sooooo many choices
