Has anybody stayed in one of the camping pods at The Quiet Site in Ullswater. If so any little bits of info would be appreciated.

Camping pods are just basic at the quiet site. They are just a wooden tent - you take all your camping gear with you to use. Located quite nicely though under some trees in the middle of the park.

At other Parks you can hire them with benches that double as beds and some have microwaves, kettles etc in them.

Wigwams are another name for them.

Oh - Okay then - we've stayed in Wigwams at St Cyrus and loved it.  Great fun.
