We stayed at Pentewan Sands in July 2006 or was it 2007?? and I think we had B13.  This is set back a bit from the sand and slightly elevated.  But you still get a sea view and there is a small play park on the sands so you should be able to see your son playing.

I can't speak for H pitches as we've only been to Pentewan the once but if it is windy I would imagine these would bear the brunt of it.  We were very lucky when we stayed as it was hot and dry .

There is also a small wash block just down from B13.
