I'm desparate for some help here after trawling on here and making loads of calls
We're looking to go away from 2-9th April and all we're after is a site a reasonable distance from the sea (5 mile say) with a decent play area for a 3 & 2 yr old.
We have a 6 berth tent thats not too huge (6mx5m) and we have a porper utility/kitchen tent for cooking. Now i've looked on the campsite search here and am having a complete mare trying to find one that will take us with the kitchen tent without charging a stupid amount extra for it! (one site quoted £15 a night for it alone!)
Anyone help me, pleeeaaasse?

Centuary Way is about a mile from the beach - behind the golf course at Filey
The right name is Centenary Way!
We stayed there last October, it's a lovely site, not too far from the beach, and we were so impressed we will definitely be going back this year. I wrote a review of it too. The children's play area is quite nice, the equipment isn't exactly up-to-date but it should keep a couple of little ones happy. Check it out, I don't think you would be disappointed if you went there.

Ooops Sorry No wonder I had to type in Filey everytime I looked it up
One of the reasons I put it in my VB was because of your review Tigermouse. I like to see reviews form people I recognise and actually post on the boards.
I'm the type of person who says what they think, and if something doesn't impress me then I say so. No worries with Centenary Way though, it's a lovely site and we'll most certainly be going back.

Thanks for all your help folks. We;ve found somewhere now, not as close to the coast as we'd wanted but couldn't find one that we liked as much closer.
We've settled on Cote Ghyll and at £19.50 a night inc ehu not a bad deal, even been able to reserve a pitch close to the kids play area so we can watch them whilst sat outside the tent.
All i've to do now is convince my mum that I really want a longer EHU cable for my birthday and could I have it a touch early (my birthday is may hehe!)
Hi mrs elvis ive been to cote ghyll a few times last time they charged my sister for her utility tent but only after she mentioned it ,if she hadent said anything no one would have noticed it so i would keep quiet about it unless asked ! i think its a bit of a cheek charging anyway .Its a nice site though with a nice village about ten mins away and a stream that the children can paddle in,you will enjoy it.
Thanks for that mines, glad to hear another good review. They do have a price for pup/family tents as an extra on their tariff and it's not too much so will be happy enough to pay that if they do question it.
Lets just hope the weather is ok lol
