Hi there...we have been to have a look around at Bainland..it is on our list of places to stay this year..but not at peak times..have you seen the price per night?..

We were impressed..theres lots to do there..but it does come at a price...

Apart from the childrens play area which is free..you have to pay for everythin else on top of your pitch fee..

I seem to think its about £3 to swim per person (dont quote me on it tho) altho i do think you can pay for a week upfront.if thats how long you are stayin..and this works out cheaper...

We have friends that stay there often and they love it...

Its a few years now that we last visited Bainland, we have been several times. Its a lovely site and has very reasonable rates out of peak season. The added amenites all cost extra sauna, swimming etc approx £2-3 per person if I remember correctly.

We travelled from Eastwood, not  too bad a journey via Newark, then A17 to Leadenham, tn left onto A 607 then right towards Metheringham. A pleasant journey, so lng as your not in a rush.

Woodhall itself is a quaint little town with a brill deli and lots of little shops for browsing, almost like going back in a timewarp, pleasantly!!
