Just bought an Outwell Vermont M and we are planning a short trip to Arran at Easter.  Seal Shore campsite sounds pretty idyllic and the on-site pub may be a clincher! But wondered if anyone would recommend any other sites on the island?

The site at Lochranza is very good...check out the website.....different to Seal Shore....I stayed on both last year and will go back to both.....

thought about Seal Shore too but then read that they don't accept big tents (or 6 man or over) is it true? The best thing about camping in Scotland at Easter is NO MIDGES - may choose a site that is normally midgie hell.

Yeah - just noticed the size limit at Seal Shore and while our Outwell Vermont is only a 4-man, it does have a large footprint...so checking out whether they can accommodate us!

Last time I was in Arran was when I was about 5,  My parents rented a house for a week and a hen got in the window one morning and layed an egg in my bed!
