We have been looking for a campsite in the St Ives area for 14 nights from 11 Jul. We are a family of 4 with a Montana 6 tent and kitchen tent and also need EHU. Due to finances being tight this year we would like somewhere for about £20 per night.
I've seen Treglisson Touring Park on the site search but the last review was Aug 2007. Has anyone been here more recently?
Has anyone got any other ideas? We are fairly laid back as to facilities, as long as they're clean we don't mind.
Thanks

If your not to fussed on facilities the C & CC Club site at sennen cove is lovely, you can walk to the beach, bit of a trek but well worth it from the site,
Its a very short drive into sennen cove itself and 5 minutes from lands end, Penzance is the nearest big town which has everything you want which takes about 15 minutes to drive to,
We went last year and thought it was brilliant and wouldn't hesitate to go back (plus more spaced out pitches)
If thats a bit far out Gwithian farm campsite has some good reviews, never stayed there myself but been to the pub across the road from it lots and lots of times

I tried to book for Treglisson earlier this week, but they only had the 1st - 8th August with ehu, we have booked Magor Farm, although that didn't have many reviews. I am working on a budget and with 4 little ones (twins aged 5, another aged 6 and another aged 8) cost is really important. I have looked at every campsite with a play area in west cornwall and some are working out 40 -50 per night.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
