Somers Wood Caravan Park at Meriden is about 1 mile from the village shops and there are also hotel restaurants and a pub The Bulls Head which do food and drink - haven't tried them ourselves so can't comment on quality of what's on offer.Somers coarse fishery is about 5 mins walk away, and there is a trout fishery about 3 miles away. Very friendly owners/wardens, good toilet/shower block. The site is "child free" - don't know whether that's an issue? - but does accept pets.

how about Kingsbury Site
Not used it myself but pass it loads of time

As for fishing there`s loads of places nearby

Kingsbury Waterpark - cheap & cheerful. Caught my first ever fish here when I were a lad !!!

Poolhouse Farm This is one of my favourites. A really good well run pool. The gaffer is a top bloke

The Riddings - well stocked pools. Check there`s not matches on .

The Dingles -   another favourite of mine. Superb location & again the gaffer is a top bloke. recommended

Also Bonehill Pools near Fazeley which is a stones throw away

also if you like fishing canals there`s loads nearby

all of the above are within 20 minutes & some are within 10 minutes

Kingsbury has a couple of really good pubs too. Especially the Royal Oak

We have been to Kingsbury water park a few times now, it's one of our favourites! Lovely clean and well kept site with friendly wardens!

You could try the C&CC site at Wolverley, Kidderminster, backs on to canal with Pub next door and tow-path walk into town.
