Hi all,
I am wanting to stay on a campsite that accepts tourers, must have a indoor pool and kids entertainment , preferably next to a sandy beach or near to one. Need all this as I have three young boys.
I have lloked on the web but their is so many.
I have never been to this part of the country but cannot wait to go in August.
Thankyou in advance
josel

Beverley Park in Paignton is supposed to be a good site, it is a walk to the beach, but it is on a hill and a bit of a walk back.
Only one site in Torquay, (Widdecombe Farm) so u prob best to look in Paignton area, or a little up the coast Dawlish area.
As we in sunny Torquay if you need any help just ask

Hi
I live very near to Beverley Park and it is a good 20mins/half hour walk to beach.
There are no sites in Paignton next to the beach. Waterside has statics only! Try looking up Brixham, think there are some sites near St Mary's Bay. http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=4557
Byslades is on the way out to Totnes in the countryside http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=2842
Most sites in Paignton for tourers are more rural than near to beach!

Thanks all,
I was very suprised that all holidays are so expensive, Ruda and Beverley sites wanted £400 for a 10 night stay.
Is it me or is that the going rate now?

Not Torquay i know, but Whitehill country Park, in Paington is lovely. ops, sorry you said indoor pool ,this one has an outside pool.
Ruda is Very exspensive, also you have to pay to use the indoor pool!!!! Also trouble with Ruda is once you get there all you have is the park or the beach,(as it's right at the end of a dead end lane) everything else is too far to walk to, if you want to go to the local village for the supermarkets you have to drive.
