We are off to Dolbryn next Thursday for Easter first time for us there, we are taking our Springer with us again first time for her camping. Does anyone know if the bar they have on site has outside seating?

Why not contact them direct and ask? http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=4574 ? The last reviews are from last year, but things may have changed over the winter.
Hiya, we will be there next Friday for the weekend too! It'll be our 3rd (or 4th) Easter there...
We are taking our Cocker Spaniel...
Yes there is seating outside the bar - not much though.
You can take your doggie into the bar (unless that's recently changed) - though we tend not to because it's a bit limited for space over Easter as there are usually kids in there too. It's a real rustic family site and we LOVE it.
Dave & Bev are the perfect hosts and will do everything within their power to make your stay an enjoyable one.
They put on activities for the kids & for the last few Easters a neighbouring farmer has brought a couple of young lambs over for the young ones to see...though not for long because they need their mom ;-)
Don't forget to take plenty of eggs for egg-rolling (kids) and egg-throwing (adults). Hubby & I won last year =)

Fiona have you been here before? Just wondering what route you take and how long it takes. We are travelling from near St Helens.
The best route for you would be to Chester -> Wrexham -> Oswestry -> Welshpool -> Newtown -> Llangurig -> Aberystwyth & then down the coast road to Aberaeron
It takes us 2 hours (just over) so for you, I would expect it to be about 5.5 hours with a caravan/trailer.

We were going Thursday but I messed up the school hols & my daughter doesn't actually finish until Thurs so will be early Fri now. Fingers crossed for the weather x

Hi Kerande You can go via Chester,Bala,Dolgellau,Machynlleth,Aberystwyth then A487 through Aberaeron then after about 10 miles turn left onto B4333 for Newcastle Emlyn,go over the bridge and along the main street to the end go right at the junction (A484) then take the first left signed for leisure centre past the leisure centre take first left toward Capel Iwan.Dolbryn is about a mile up on the right,My son takes this way from Manchester takes about 5 hours.Good luck! see you in the bar.
