Hi, we are camping for the first time at Dunstan hill on Tuesday and are trying to plan the trip just now - but we dont know what time we can start pitching the tent from - does anyone know?

Anytime after 12.00 noon. That is the stated time for people to vacate their pitch and new arrivals. I presume it is the C&CC site you are talking about.
Its a nice site. Don't bother ringing HQ. Its always better to ring the site direct. They should have an answerphone on but could be out and about so just try again. Enjoy your holiday.
