we are off to here on teusday, last time in this area when i was 17 with the shepton mallet youth club. scary !!! can any inform us as to how awkward it is on the access road into the site, sounds abit of a mare but info as to how bad/good would be cool............. enjoy your days people

Hi the access road is single track with passing places, and is for a mile and a half, but not a problem at all, in the winter the 20 ton lorries delivering turf etc have no problem getting here, have also seen a 34ft static caravan go down on the back of a lorry too without a scratch... so dont worry about it... look forward to meeting you tuesday.

Yes we have been to Doward Park with a tent, but also with our Pennine Pullman on one of it's first outings - no problem and a fab site - our boys still talk about it - and we were recommending it to a friend new to camping only yesterday. Hope you have a lovely time.

thanks for that, yes were booked in for teusday, but........... was on the garden yesterday and have buggered my back and am currently stiff as a board, so heres hoping,
