Hi there, if this is Waters Edge at Crooklands I would say possibly not... There is a duck pond on site, very landscaped so I would guess they wouldnt like it used as a paddling pool.. There are two streams that run at either side of the site..one is fenced off and the other seemed to be running rather fast (there had been lots of rain when we went). There are also warning signs about this.

At the top end of the site is a gateway that leads to a wooded area where i took the dog. If you were to walk a way up there I think there was an accessable stony "beach". I suppose it depends how old your kids are.

I would say though it is a cracking site which we have been to twice in 6 months and I would recommend giving it a go and see what you think!!

Jo

My kids are a little older..12 and 15..and dont mind this site (they absolutely hate others!!) There is a pool table in the bar and a tv  area upstairs. I dont know if you have been already, but I would recommend knight stainforth at settle for a lovely child friendly site with a river to play in..this is my kids absolute favorite site.
