Need some help finding camp sites in East Anglia for wheelchair users? My wife is disabled and uses a wheelchair. We really need sites that have paved drives so my wife does not have to use her wheelchair on bumpy ground (very painful for her).I have to get this right or she will never go camping again.
I have being searching for campsites on the internet, and found plenty with disabled access which is great. But I am finding it hard to find sites that have paved roads.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Kevin
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Searles in Hunstanton has paved paths and drives in the hedges part....you would need to get a pitch on the rows next to the road as the row behind has gravel paths in between which I presume would be uncomfortable and hard work. If you ring to discuss your requirements in detail I'm sure they'll be able to give you more info.
Not sure if it is your kind of site but very good wheelchair access throughout I believe.
