Hi, any suggestions for nice site in Suffok, within 15 mins from sea.  Have 3 young kids, a big tent (Idaho XL), would be for a week in summer holidays.  I am a beach head so beach must be gorge!  Love woodlands etc too.  Happy for basic facilities on site - not full entertainent but a little park / shop always good.

Having spent the last week searching for a tent, I just have to get off the web for a while (my family need some attention!) so welcome your advice rather than researching from scratch!

not sure if i can help you with sites but i live in Felixstowe in Sffolk and just to warn you if you did'n already know most of our beach's are nothing but pebbles!!

For nice beaches north Norfolk is a better bet.

don't mind pebbles as long as overall the beach in nice.  Would be happy with Norfolk too I guess.,....

There is a site near Wells-next-the-sea that I stayed on a few years ago, think it was called Pinewoods. 5 mins or less from the sea and pine woods (obviously) nearby.
The beaches around Wells/Holkham are sandy and about the biggest you will find!

If you are ok with shingle try orchards at wickham market, kids will love it

beaches are shingle, but nice and clean

have just done a review on it if your interested, about the surrounding area etc
