Can anyone out there advise us on the best campsites in the North West,

must have all the usual amenities

Indian Restaurants

Friendly Public houses

Off License etc

I think you may be pushing it a bit if you want an Indian - do you want North Wales - the Lakes or the Peak District - or are you taking the p***s ? (lol)

Chris, If your looking for a good night out or two then the Riverside Touring Park at Banks, Nr Southport may have all you need to make you want to return every weekend.

Good facitlies, Night club, Chippy,,,,,,,,,what more does a man want.

Try Twll Clawdd in Llanrug near Llanberis I'm sure it has an Indian restaurant close by if I remember rightly

Its a lovely small, cheap and quiet site.

Hi Chris

No offence meant  - try Brewers pub, North Wales - it hasn't got an indian but the campsite is practically in the car park of a pub that does good food. Lovely scenery and you can stagger back to the tent with no problem.

Royal Umpire at Croston, 10 miles from southport and preston.

2 miles from excellent indian restaurant and chinese take away and italian restaurant, 5 miles indian takeaway and about 10 pubs in 5 mile radius
