Hi

Any recommendations for a campsite for may half term - sunday to sunday.  We were thinking Newforest/dorset area.  2 adults plus 4 year old.  We've just bought an EHU cable - so need that too!  Tent is Vermont L (so 7.7 x 4m)  Ideal is a family run campsite with a play area and decent shower block!   And not massively expensive!

Shamba Holidays is in that area but it is expensive.  We wanted to go away last August but every where was full so we looked at more expensive places and found Shamba.  It's family run so is a nice site with a small unmanned swimming pool which pleased the kids lol.

It does take larger tents too :)

hiya, we have just booked to go to riverside lakes at Wimbourne in Dorset, 20 mins outside Bournemouth.

looks a decent place and allowing camp fires too.

we are going in on the bank holiday monday night through to friday (possibly saturday!) and avoiding the busy bank holiday weekend.

thanks for suggestions - just booked South Lytchett Manor for 7 nights - hope its good, reviews and website look good!  That will be the longest I've spent on one site - when we go to France we move about - and max is five nights in the UK before!
