Hi looking for somewhere in August for a wk with animals. The kids love patting ponies, goats etc. Nothing too back to basics as we want ehu and decent showers. Ive got treveague farm in Cornwall booked for July but am looking for something a bit closer. Maybe 1-2hrs away from Bristol in any direction.

There were animal paddocks at Broadway House at Cheddar when we went a couple of years ago .I think there were goats, llamas etc.

We have stayed at Pencelli in Brecon there is a Farm very near by with animals/outdoor play centre/pony rides/feed the lambs etc - its called Cantref farm -not too expensive either. The campsite in on the canal and there are also boat trips run further along.

Campsite is one of the cleanest, well laid out site I've been too - although it does come at a price.

Caravan Club site at Longleat? Plenty of sites around Tenby or Saundersfoot which is only a stonesthrow from Folly Farm in Pembrokeshire.

There are animals on site at this one near Oxford.  Fantastic showers here too.

Another vote for Greenhill Leisure Park.  Not only are there lots of animals but the children's play area is very good and the owners are really friendly and helpful.  I spent two weeks there last summer and am soon about to book for later in the year.
